I found these old pictures in a book purchased at an estate sale a couple months ago. I have no idea who any of the people in the photos are. Click on the pic below for a BIG view. I was trying to figure out what the writing on the black-bordered card is. Obviously something on Pike St. in Port Jervis, NY…but what does it say above that? Lunderius? Dunderius? Lundenius?
i watched it on ESPN last night after the home run derby.. Rickey Henderson hit a lead-off home run off Jennie Finch.. MC Hammer also got a homer. I actually didnt watch the whole game, i guess the home run derby went longer than expected and my DVR only got the first couple innings of the softball game.
Love him or hate him, no matter what you thought of George Steinbrenner, he is a big part of baseball history. RIP.
