holy crap he’s gonna get his head knocked off by Hong Man Choi, who is a 7’2″ 350lb Korean dude with some legit MMA experience.. while Canseco was fighting danny bonaduce, Hong Man Choi (aka “The Techno Goliath”) was fighting Fedor..
ive been an MMA fan since i first saw UFC 3 on VHS back in the 90′s, and couple that with being an Oakland A’s fan back in the “Bash Brothers” day, and it makes probably the most awesome fight i’ve ever looked forward to.. pure entertainment.

i picked up this bgs 9.5 1997 Pinnacle “Mirror Gold” #65 of Ron Gant.. only cost a few bucks..
i also got Chachi Arcola’s autograph on the cheap.. dude has banged like half of the chicks in hollywood..

of course, he won’t get in, but it’s still nice to see Ron Gant’s name on the HOF ballot.. i met him back in the 1988 pre-season when I was 12 years old and he was just a random rookie for the Braves..
i was at an exhibition game in Florida during spring training, and i got dissed by Dale Murphy when I tried to get an autograph.. Ron Gant saw me get dissed, walked up to me from behind and put his hand on my shoulder and offered to sign my program.. awesome, although i had no idea who he was.. i had to try and match the signature to the player names in my program when i got home..
anyway, after that i really wanted to see Gant be successful, and he was, with several 30+ homerun seasons before getting injured in an ATV accident..
